The aforementioned student is applying for the Lead Student Volunteer Program at the Supercomputing Conference, which will take place in Atlanta, GA from November 17th-November 22nd. SCALE participants are required to arrive in Atlanta, GA on Friday, November 15th and depart on Saturday, November 23rd.The Lead Student Volunteer Program is an excellent opportunity in which participants are able to gain the experience of being a junior member of one of SC's planning committees. The program also provides participants an avenue to both utilize and improve their leadership skills. Students will also have the opportunity to participate in many enriching programs such as regular conference sessions, workshops, keynotes, tutorials, mentoring, networking, and a career fair.
In order to fund as many Lead Student Volunteer participants as possible, each participant is asked to find sources for as much funding as they can from places such as their university, internship, grant, etc.
For the student to be considered for additional travel support from the Conference, we request that you submit the form below to inform the conference on how much support can be covered by the student’s institution and how much additional support is needed. The deadline to submit this form so that the student can be considered for travel support is TBD.
